The greatest summer of soca this city has ever seen deserves a proper closing ceremony. Soca or Die! Recovery is that send-off — Labour Day Monday at Cabana Pool Bar, where we squeeze every last drop out of the season before the fall takes over.
Expect the same energy that's carried us all summer. Good music, cold pool, familiar faces, and soca from open to close. The riddims don't stop until the final whistle.

The crown jewel of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival, the Grand Parade is a breathtaking explosion of colour, music, and movement. Tens of thousands of masqueraders in stunning, hand-crafted costumes dance through the streets, bringing the infectious energy of the Caribbean to life. With vibrant Mas Bands, pulsing rhythms, and an electric crowd, the Grand Parade is where tradition, creativity, and pure joy collide. ‘The Chutney Concert’ celebrates cultural diversity of the West Indies. Bringing talent together from across the region and from across the globe, including previous Chutney Soca Monarch winners and finalists. It's a unique cross-over event that will be a vibrant and unforgettable experience!

Carnival Thursday is the Super Bowl of soca season and All Stars is the only place to be. Soca or Die! takes over Cabana Pool Bar with the hardest hitting riddims, the most electric selectors, and a crowd full of people who live for this music.
No bench players here. Everyone on the floor came to play.

It’s an afternoon of pure joy and pageantry — where the next generation of Carnival royalty takes centre stage and reminds us all that the future of the festival is bright, bold, and beautiful.
Zennzilla Stand-Up Comedy Tour
Jherad “Zennzilla” Alleyne is a multi-disciplinary artiste from Barbados who has been performing live since 2006. His storytelling and stand up blend cultural insight, social commentary, and humor, earning him recognition across the Caribbean and diaspora through his work as a comedian, actor, and content creator under the alias "Lord Zenn."
In 2025 he made his playwriting debut with Scam-Uh-Life, an original stage-play that was developed through the Royal Court Theatre’s International Programme, and produced in collaboration with the National Cultural Foundation of Barbados.
In addition to his experience in theatre, film, music, live event production, and radio, his training also includes a B.A. in Acting from Guildhall School of Music & Drama (UK), the Comedy Writing & Performance Program at Humber College (CA), and the Bob Curry Fellowship at Second City Toronto.
Alleyne continues to shape how the world relates to Caribbean culture across mediums, resonating with audiences at home and abroad.
